Our Impact

Changing Lives, One Child at a Time

Research consistently shows that early educational investment yields the highest social return. For every $1 invested in early childhood education, society gains an estimated $7–$12 in long-term economic benefits through reduced poverty, crime, and public health costs.

In DeKalb County, where Tucker is located, over 18% of children live below the federal poverty line, and 1 in 4 students lack access to basic school supplies. NAAFSRI directly addresses this gap.

Awal Khan, Principal of NAAFSRI
I have spent years walking into classrooms where children sit without pencils, without books — sometimes without hope. NAAFSRI was born from the belief that this is not inevitable. Every single child I have met has the capacity for greatness. Our job is simply to remove the barriers standing between them and their potential. When you invest in a child's education, you are not just changing one life — you are changing the trajectory of an entire family, an entire community.
