2025 Back-to-School Supply Drive
Our flagship annual event returns for 2025, aiming to distribute 2,800+ supply kits to 700 families across DeKalb County. This year we are introducing a dedicated "Digital Starter Kit" for students in grades 6–12, including a USB drive, earbuds, and a guide to free online learning resources.
Volunteers are needed for sorting, packing, distribution, family intake, and transportation. All volunteers must complete a brief online orientation before the event. Lunch is provided for all volunteers on each day of service.

Two-week reading and writing enrichment program for 80 children at Cascade Community Library. Focuses on preventing summer learning loss for students entering grades 3–8.

Laptop distribution and digital literacy training for 60 middle-school students from low-income households. Includes hands-on sessions on internet safety, productivity tools, and online learning platforms.

Workshops for parents on supporting children's education at home, navigating the school system, and accessing community resources. Free resource kits provided to all attendees.

NAAFSRI's premier fundraising event of the year. Formal dinner, silent auction, live entertainment, and keynote address by Principal Awal Khan. All proceeds fund the 2026 scholarship program.
